The seagull and the blackbirds are slightly more expensive than some of the other mouth blown glass birds as they have a coloured beak and this needs two people to make it, the extra person makes the colour addition for the beak at the same time as the main bird is being made so that they the two pieces can then be fused together at the correct high temperature.
