Terms of Use for Delivery and Returns

UK Mainland - DELIVERY & COSTS

All deliveries over £50 are free of charge ( for UK Mainland Deliveries). Please contact us for other zones, we try and keep postage the same wherever possible.  Please see 'Standard  UK Delivery' below for delivery times.

Standard UK delivery is £4.96 per order ( for UK Mainland Deliveries).  Please allow 4-10 working days for standard UK delivery, although we aim for delivery within 2-4 working days. For Artwork please allow 7 - 21 working days, although we aim for 7 - 10 working days. Working days exclude weekends and bank holidays. (These estimates may be extended around busy times such as Christmas)

Express delivery is £8.96 per order  (for UK Mainland Deliveries). Please order by 9.30 am for next day delivery.  Orders placed on Friday by 9.30 am will be delivered on Monday. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be collected on Monday and delivered on Tuesday. Our couriers do not collect or deliver on bank holidays. CORONAVIRUS UPDATE:  We are still operating Express Delivery and doing everything we can to fulfill orders in the timescale as shown above, however the current situation is making life a little more challenging and therefore Express delivery will always be prioritised but cannot be guaranteed.

Collection from Hoar Cross is Free (by appointment) so if you are local and would like to collect your order, please email us (or use our contact us page) to organise a time in order that we can ensure your items are ready.

Saturday Delivery is £15.00 for orders over £50 and £18.50 for order under £50.00 this service is for UK Mainland Deliveries only. Please order before 9 am on Friday to be sure this service is available.

Delivery to non UK Mainland, Highlands and Islands please contact us via email and we will promptly give you our keenest quote for delivery, we try to keep prices the same whenever possible. Standard delivery for Northern Island is usually the same as above for small and medium sized parcels, for large or fragile parcels we will contact you if we think the order requires a particular courier service which may cost a little more.

Notifications - You will receive an email from us confirming your order (please check your spam file if it does not come through).  We aim to dispatch as quickly as possible and we will send an email notification once your item has been dispatched.  Our couriers should then be in touch with tracking information but please email us if you do not receive this. We use standard postal services/couriers such as DPD, DHL or Royal Mail.  A signature is required for certain items.  

We update our stock levels continually.  In the unlikely event a product is out of stock or will be delivered later than expected, we will contact you by email or phone as soon as possible.

Our couriers will make three attempts at delivery after which time the goods may be returned to us, please refer to our general 'terms of use' section for further information.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING To the following Countries - DELIVERY & COSTS

IMPORTANT:  EUROPEAN DELIVERIES - FROM 1 JANUARY 2021 THERE MAY BE CUSTOMS CHARGES/DUTIES/IMPORT TAXES TO BE PAID prior to delivery.  The cost is dependant on order value, product type and the destination country.  Interior Gifts are not responsible for these taxes. The charges for parcels returned to us as a result of duties not being paid are not the responsibility of Interior Gifts.

We can ship most* but not all our items to the following countries,  when ordering you will see a drop down box on the first page of the checkout under 'delivery', there will be an arrow and a bracket, here you can select the correct destination for shipping and this will then confirm the price for the country selected:

For Kew Pot EU orders there may be a further charge as these require specialist packing to avoid breakages.  We will contact you if this is the case, or alternatively email us in advance of ordering.

*We can ship most of our items to Europe for these rates but would ask you to email us first if the items are either large or heavy to check whether the item is suitable (re: size, weight, construction etc) for shipping to a particular destination. If you wish to order multiple quantities of the same item, please email us as we may be able to provide a keener price for shipping. Unfortunately, we cannot ship Framed Art and certain fragile sculptures internationally. We can ship our photographic art internationally.

PLEASE NOTE: Our Couriers require a telephone number for all international deliveries, thank you.

USA/Canada/Australia - we can send our textiles to these destinations and some of our other ranges.  The website checkout page will show a price for textiles only (per item) and also give an option for shipping one small product in a 30 cm square box.   For all other items please contact us for a shipping quotation, we will usually reply within 24 hours.  

For other countries not listed, please email us - [email protected] - and we will give you our keenest price for shipping.

NB - DISCLAIMER: Interior Gifts will not be held responsible for any Customs Charges/Duties/Taxes/Import fees relating to any items sent internationally or to non-uk mainland destinations.  With respect to insurance of your internatinal parcel, this is covered for loss but fragile items are NOT covered for damage as our couriers will not cover this.  We do, however, pack extremely well.

RETURNS POLICY

We carefully select our products and hope that you will be delighted with your purchase.  All products are covered by our 14 day money back guarantee.  We understand that occasionally you may wish to return an item.  We are happy to refund the cost of the item (excluding delivery costs) or offer a replacement of something more suitable. If you would like a refund, we would ask you to follow the procedure below:

  • If you wish to return an item, we must ask that you notify us in writing or via email within 14 days of the day you received your goods. We will reply within 24 working hours with a return code and the return details, our email is:  [email protected]  Please do not return your goods without the return code.
  • You then have a further 7 days from the confirmation email date to return the goods to us.
  • The goods must be returned to us in the same condition they were sold (ie. unopened, unused and unsullied), including all original tags, packing and materials. Tags must still be attached to textile products otherwise the return cannot be accepted.
  • Please provide a valid receipt or proof of purchase with the returned goods. If possible, please include the original email address used when ordering the goods, this will speed up the refund process.

The purchase price will be refunded within 7 days of receipt of the returned goods provided the conditions above have been met. Unfortunately it is not possible to refund "special orders" that have been requested specifically for a customer.  We reserve the right to refuse a refund if any item does not meet the above conditions and is deemed to be non re-saleable.

Please note that if you are returning only part of your order resulting in the total amount of your initial order to fall beneath the threshold to benefit from free postage, the basic postage charge not paid on the original order will be deducted from your refund.

DAMAGED ITEMS

We make every effort to ensure your goods arrive in tip top condition.  In the unlikely event your item arrives damaged, please contact us via email or on our contact form within 24 hours and we will arrange a full refund or replacement where possible. After this time we cannot accept responsibility for any damage reported. We will require you to take a photo of the damaged item, the packing materials in which it arrived, the external box and the courier label that was applied (clearly showing your address) in order that we can process the claim.

CUSTOMER DELIVERY REQUESTS

If you would like your items delivered to a different address (such as your work address or a friend's address if your item is a gift), please fill in the delivery address option during checkout (uncheck the box for 'Use my billing address for my delivery address').  For certain items a signature will be needed on delivery.

If you would like our courier to leave your parcel in a 'safe place' (such as with the neighbour/in the porch etc') then please add this information in the 'Special Instructions' section during checkout.  We are happy to pass these notes on to the courier but in these circumstances 'Interior Gifts' cannot be held responsible for the safety of these items once the courier has left.  

ATTEMPTED DELIVERY

Please ensure that the delivery details given at the point of order are correct as, although we do our best to check, we cannot be responsible if goods are returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete delivery address.  Our couriers will make a minimum of two attempts at delivery and leave a card to give details of this, after which time if no contact is made within 5 days of the second delivery attempt, the parcel is likely to be returned to us, which may result in further re-delivery costs, please see our 'terms of use' page for further details should this occur.
