NB - This item requires some assembly, the bird and the base arrive in two separate pieces and require putting together which needs a pair of fairly stong hands! The pose of the bird will vary on each different sculpture as they are individually carved.
Here is some information about the Gannet:
The gannet is Britains' largest sea bird. Adults are large and bright white with black wingtips. They are distinctively shaped with a long neck and long pointed beak, long pointed tail and long pointed wings. At sea they flap and then glide low over the water, often travelling in small groups. They feed by flying high and circling before plunging into the sea. When they dive, they can be travelling at 60 mph when they hit the water.
